Cooler temperatures, small craft warning for Atlantic coast

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts lower temperatures nationwide Wednesday night from a northerly wind ,with partly cloudy skies expected in the north region today.

It said towns along the Caribbean Coast and in the border zone can expect scattered showers and some thunderstorms.

Onamet said a low pressure system and humidity will bring scattered showers to the country in the afternoon, mostly the Southwest, Northeast border zone, East, Central Mountains and some zones in the Cibao valley (north-central.

Small craft are cautioned to remain in port along the Atlantic coast, near shore in Samaná Bay, while the normal swell along the Caribbean coast mans no restrictions.
