Nurses union chief dies aboard U.S. bound flight

Santo Domingo.- The president of the Dominican Nurses Union (Unased) Minerva Magdaleno passed away aboard a flight headed to the United States to deal health issues, including phlebitis.

The death of the union leader, who for many years headed the health sector’s struggle for grievances, was confirmed by a source in the Federation of Unions, CASC, and an affiliate of the Unased.

Magdaleno was accompanied by her husband on the flight.
