Foreign Ministry honors outgoing Israeli ambassador

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s Foreign Minister stressed the cooperation and "strong relationship" between his country and Israel, and decorated outgoing Israeli ambassador, Moshe Sermoneta.

Carlos Morales stressed the diplomat’s work during his two-and-a-half year tenure in the areas of health, education and high technology.

The Dominican official bestowed the Duarte, Sanchez and Mella Order of Merit, for his work in the Caribbean country.

"Sermoneta has worked tirelessly to strengthen the excellent relations which happily exist between our two peoples and governments,” Morales said in the ceremony at the Foreign Relations Ministry.
