Partly cloudy, higher temps

Santo Domingo.- Partly cloudy skies for Monday morning, with low probability of rain for most regions, the National Weather Office (Onamet) forecast today.

It said the strong south-southwest wind will bring warmer temperatures and increased cloudiness to the mountains for the next 48 hours, while a frontal system will reach the country on from the northwest Wednesday, with showers for the Northwest, Northeast and Northern Cibao Valley.

Onamet adds that the surf along the Caribbean coast begins returning to normal, for which small craft should navigate with caution near shore, but remain in port along the Atlantic coast.
