Increasing cloudiness, scattered showers, lower temps

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts increasing cloudiness from a trough over the Atlantic coast, with scattered showers, and thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening for the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains.

It said the rains will taper off during the next 24 to 36 hours.

ONAMET adds that temperatures will start to decrease at night and early morning, as the prevailing East wind has shifted slightly from the Northeast.
