Light rains for most of the country Monday

SANTO DOMINGO.- The National Meteorology Office forecasts weak rains for most of the country Monday, as a low pressure system combined with the east-northeast wind drags humidity over the country.

It said showers will be more frequent in the north, northeast, southeast and Central Mountains, accompanied by thunderstorms. It said the mild temperatures will continue in morning and evening hours.

Meteorology advises small craft to remain in port and cautions swimmers along the Atlantic coast, where higher than normal waves and strong winds continue.
