Interpol arrests Canadian involved in sex case

Santo Domingo.– Police agents assigned to Dominican Interpol arrested in Puerto Plata a Canadian man wanted in his country on charges of child sexual exploitation, the Diario Libre reports.

Police said Friday that Michel Levis of Quebec had been sought by Interpol since last June. However, it is unclear when he entered the Dominican Republic.

Levis, 59, was detained while driving a white Ford Mustang in Las Caobas, Puerto Plata (north).
