Santo Domingo.– The Film Commission of the Dominican Republic (DGCine) announced that the film "Who’s The Boss?" (¿Quién Manda?) was selected to represent the Dominican Republic in the "Best Foreign Language Film" category in the upcoming 86th version of the Oscar Awards.

This is the third year in a row a Dominican film is seeking Academy consideration for best foreign-language feature. The two previous submissions were "Jaque Mate" (2012) and "Love Child" (2011).

The country has submitted a total of five films since their debut in 1983, but they have never yet been nominated.
