Heavy showers, lower temps today, Tuesday

Santo Domingo.- The national weather service (Onamet) forecasts continuing downpours for Monday, from a front and a cloud field left by trough which moved west.

It said all regions except the extreme east can expect the downpours accompanied by thunderstorms, bringing lower than average temperatures.

Onamet aid widely scattered showers are expected to continue during the next 24 hours mostly in the afternoon for the North, Northeast, Northwest and Southeast regions, the Central Mountains and border area.
