Widely scattered showers, high surf

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet)forecasts widely scattered showers today over the North-East, South-East and southernslope of the Central Mountains, from the prevailing East-Southeast wind.

It said the rains will be accompanied by partly cloudyskies over most of the national territory, without significant rainfall.

Onamet adds that high surf continues along theAtlantic and Caribbean coasts, for which small craft should operate near shore,and within Samana Bay.
