Mostly sunny skies continue nationwide

Santo Domingo.- A high pressure system located in waters of the Atlantic will continue to influence the weather, with low proability of showers, the National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts today.

It said doesn’t expect precipitations of importance during the next 24 to 72 hours, but the east -south east wind could spark some widely scattered showers in afternoon hours over the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains.

It said Greater Santo Domingo and eastern and northeast provinces can also expect increasing cloudiness with some widely scattered showers in the afternoon.
