Showers taper off, high temps move in

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts fewer showers nationwide today, due to a high pressure system throughout the Central Caribbean.

It said seasonably high temperatures as high as 33 degrees Celsius will continue throughout the day, while the prevailing wind will be from the East-Southeast.

Onamet forecasts low probability of rain over the country Wednesday morning, adding that a tropical wave moving west ward across the Caribbean, will not impact the country.
