Fernandez receives six new ambassadors

Santo Domingo. – President Leonel Fernandez received the credentials of six new ambassadors from Europe and Latin America, in a National Palace ceremony Wednesday.

The Head of State accompanied by Foreign Relations minister Carlos Morales received the new ambassador of Cuba, Alexis Bandrich Vega; of Germany, Thomas C. Bruns and of France, Blandine Kreiss.

He also received the new ambassador of Paraguay, Luis Domingo Laino Guaines; of Sweden, Claes Hammer and of Thailand, Udomphol Ninnad.

During the ceremony which began near noon, Fernandez was also accompanied by Foreign Relations Deputy minister Jose Manuel Trullols.
