Thunderstorms, scattered showers for most regions Monday

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) Monday forecasts partly cloudy skies, thunderstorms and scattered showers for all regions except the Northwest, from the east wind which will drag humidity.

It said a tropical wave in the Caribbean has been located southeast of Puerto Rico moving west at 26 kilometers per hour, and that two areas of thunderstorms located next to the Yucatan Peninsula and the western end of Cuba have a 60% chance of becoming a tropical storm.

For greater Santo Domingo, Onamet forecasts partly cloudy skies with scattered but often heavy showers and thunderstorms.
