Tropical wave brings showers, thunderstorms

Santo Domingo.- A trough associated with a low pressure system on the Caribbean Sea could increase the scattered and often heavy showers with thunderstorms in some zones, the National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecast Wednesday.

The humidity is expected to increase in the afternoon in towns along the Caribbean coast, with clear skies for the North, Northeast, Cibao Valley of the and Northwest.

For Greater Santo Domingo province increasing cloudiness with scattered showers are expected and thunderstorms.
