Agents seize 98 bricks of drug at Caucedo Port, Punta Cana Airport

Santo Domingo.- Antinarcotics (DNCD) and various security agencies seized separately 98 bricks of cocaine or heroin bound for Puerto Rico from Caucedo Port, and to Brussels from Punta Cana Airport (AIPC).

DNCD spokesman Dario Medrano said six people are being investigated, but didn’t disclose identities.

He said 77 bricks were seized in a 20 foot container onboard the Panamanian ship Conti Daphne in Haina, bound for Puerto Rico.

Medrano said 21 bricks headed to Brussels were seized at Punta Cana Airport, where six Aviam Airlines employees are being questioned.
