Scattered showers, thunderstorms continue

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts that a low pressure system over the Mona Pass will bring scattered but often heavy showers with thunderstorms along the Caribbean coast and Samaná peninsula Thursday afternoon.

As to marine conditions along the North coast, the surge is gradually returning to normal, but small craft warnings and cautions for swimmers are still in effect.

ONAMET adds that boats can operate with precaution but are warned against venturing out to sea along the North coast.
