Scattered showers, high temps continue through Saturday

Santo Domingo. – For Friday afternoon and early evening the National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts widely scattered showers and thunderstorms over the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Central Mountains and border area, from a trough and the prevailing east-southeast wind.

The seasonably high temperatures and showers will continue Saturday morning.

Onamet added that Tropical Storm Dorian, located around 2,230 kilometers east of the Lesser Antilles, moves west at 32 kph, with maximum sustained winds of 85 kph.
