Prominent group hails the Government’s Overseer commissions

Santo Domingo.- The Justice and Transparency Foundation (FJT) on Thursday hailed as positive the Government’s decision to create the Social Overseer Commission to watch over all purchasing and contracting processes conducted in the National Police.

FTJ president Trajano Vidal Potentini asked the Executive Branch to extend the initiative to other government agencies, to promote greater transparency and credibility,

He said by overseeing and monitoring the government agencies, the commissions would assure transparency in the various purchasing, tendering and contracting processes.
