Thousands attend fundraiser for Autism, Down Syndrome

Santo Domingo.- The foundation Quiéreme como soy (love me as I am) Sunday hosted the now yearly softball game between Major League Baseball players, artists and the winner of the gold medal in the Special Olympic Games of Athens, a gathering attended by nearly 10,000 people in the Quisqueya Stadium.

The fundraiser event will benefit the Dominican Down Syndrome Association – ADOSID – and the Foundation Hands United for Autism, to expand the ADOSID House and to acquire one for Autism.
