Rangers snag croc had escaped from a Cabarete park

Puerto Plata.- Environment Ministry park rangers on Thursday captured a crocodile which had escaped from a park in Cabarete, northern Puerto Plata province.

The croc of around eight feet was spotted in an area near Cabarete’s Hotel Kisley Beach owned by Rugama Ecological Park, located in Islabon Sabaneta de Yásica.

Local media report that the crocodile escaped from the park on the night of November 3, when nearby rivers swelled their banks the flooded the area.
