Hipolito Mejia meets with his followers in Villa Mella today

Santo Domingo.– Dominican former president Hipolito Mejia will visit Villa Mella today to continue strengthening the Modern Revolutionary Party(PRM) leadership, and listen to his followers’ proposals on the future of the organization and hispossible presidential candidacy for the 2016 elections.

Theevent will start at 4:00 pm and the Vieja Habana entertaining center, located in theHermanas Mirabal Avenue, in Villa Mella.

According to El Nuevo Diaro, manyof his followers claim that Mejia is clearly the strongest contender against the ruling Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), and the one with better conditions, because he was a president who favored the development of the population with lower income sectors through the implementationof inclusive public policies and sustained support to the productive sectors.
