Widely scattered showers, lower temperatures nationwide

Santo Domingo.- Partly cloudy skies with widely scattered showers is forecast Friday for the North, Central, South and Southwest, and mostly sunny for the Northwest, East and South-east.

Weak and sometimes moderate rains are expected in the afternoon in the Atlantic Coastal Plain, the Central Cibao Valley and in some parts of the Southwest, from low pressure system, ahead of an approaching cold front located over central Cuba today.

Light rains are also forecast nationwide for the weekend, when a North wind will cause a considerable drop in temperatures in the entire country.
