The weekend: Widely scattered showers, mild temperatures

Santo Domingo.- The 10 feet and even higher waves will continue along the Atlantic Coast for the next 24 to 48 hours, where small craft are warned to remain in port.

Residents in low lying coastal zones should be on the lookout for flooding and swimmers should be cautious in the area’s beaches.

The National Meteorology office said seasonably mild temperatures will continue from the prevailing East-Northeast wind, especially in evening and morning hours, with mostly clear skies and widely scattered showers.

It forecasts an increase in showers for this weekend on the Northeast, Southeast and Central Cibao regions, mostly in the afternoon hours.
