President Medina: enjoy festivities without excesses

Santo Domingo.– President Danilo Medina Tuesday urged Dominicans to enjoy Christmas and New Year festivities without excesses, without violence or splurge, and with the necessary prudence to avoid putting lives at risk.

In a message on the occasion of Christmas, Medina said the holidays offer the opportunity to share with family, friends and acquaintances, without forgetting the humanitarian duty to help those who have all sorts of deficiencies, especially of attention and affection.

"It is also an occasion to express our feelings to those who have a place in our heart. Therefore, on behalf of the Government and my family I would like to express our beloved Dominican people the most sincere congratulations on Easter and Christmas," the Head of State pointed out.
