Widely scattered showers for most of the country

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office forecasts widely scattered showers mostly in the Northeast, Southeast and Cibao Valley regions and the Central, Northern and Eastern mountains on Tuesday.

The precipitation comes from a low pressure system located north of the national territory, combined with the prevailing east-northeast wind, Meteorology said.

It adds that there’ll be some increase in clouds with weak and scattered showers towards some localities of Puerto Plata, Santiago, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, San José de Ocoa, Sánchez Ramírez, Espaillat, María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Monte Plata and Samaná provinces.
