Approaching front to bring moderate to weak showers

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts moderate to weak showers for the Northwest, North, Northeast and Central Cibao form a slowly approaching frontal system, located over eastern Cuba.

It also cautions small craft along the Atlantic coast on higher than normal winds and waves, and even higher out to sea. It warns small craft to remain in port on Tuesday, as waves as high as 10 feet are expected near the coast.

Onamet also forecasts increasing cloudiness with moderate to weak showers for the north central, northeast and the northwest provinces.
