Showers continue into Friday, tapering off Saturday

Santo Domingo.-The National Weather Office forecasts continuing downpours from the humidity left by the trough and the east wind, mostly for the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and Central Mountains.

It said the scattered showers and thunderstorm will continue Friday morning mainly during the evening and early morning, over the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains, and mostly sunny for the rest of the country.

The Weather Office forecasts decreasing rainfall from most regions on Saturday, except for some widely scattered showers from the East wind.
