Mostly sunny; drought means water rationing

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts low probability of rain dry continue during the next 24 hours, from a dry and stable air mass caused by a high pressure system.

It said the skies will continue mostly sunny with widely scattered showers over highland zones Wednesday afternoon, from the humidity dragged by east-southeast wind.

Onamet forecasts scattered showers over the Southeast, North, Northeast and Central Mountains Thursday and Friday, as a prefrontal system approaches the Caribbean.

It recommends rationing water because of the seasonal drought , especially the South, Southwest and Northwest.
