Vargas: “Fear is the enemy of development”

Santo Domingo.– Dominican Republic’s opposition party PRD Miguel Vargas said that "fear" is the enemy of the country’s development, and announced that his party has conducted studies to establish a position on the exploitation of Loma Miranda.

Vargas said that the government should have very compelling reasons to make a decision to go against the creation of jobs and better opportunities for development in the country’s villages.

"Personally, I’m among the ones who understand that fear is the enemy of development… You need to have strong reasons to make decisions that go against development," Vargas pointed out.
