Dominican activist leads Paterson mayoral race with 54.5%: Poll

New York.- Prominent Dominican-New Jersey activist and mayoral candidate María Teresa Feliciano leads the most recent polls with 54.5%, ahead of Paterson’s municipal elections in May.

Pollster Precision Polling’s first survey by phone gave Feliciano 49.5%, to former mayor and closest rival Joseph (Joey) Torres’ 37.4%.

Among the other candidates in the survey figure Dominican and current Paterson councilman Rijo Rodriguez (17.0%), Andre Sayegh, Danna Ivy (15.1%) and Ramón Valenzuela, also Dominican less than 3%.
