Madrid police bust coke lab, nab 6 Dominicans, seize 71K

Madrid.- Madrid police arrested six suspects of Dominican origin in raids which dismantled a cocaine lab and seized 71 kilos of the drug, EFE reports.

The police on Wednesday the six formed part of a group specializing in producing, distributing and marketing of drugs at a small and medium scale.

Agents found 65 kilos of cocaine in a house and the rest in a drug lab, where they found other four kilos, two precision scales and other objects and products to cut the drug.

The detainees, in addition to distribution and marketing of the drug, used the lab to chemically cut cocaine to balloon its volume for a higher profit, according to the police.
