Scattered showers for the next 48 hours

Santo Domingo.- The prevailing East-Northeast wind will bring humidity and scattered showers with some thunderstorms for the Southeast, Southwest, Cibao Valley, South Coast, Central Mountains and border area.

The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts similar conditions for tomorrow.

It said it monitors an area of ??low pressure located around 1,285 kilometers west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, which has a 60% probability to become a tropical cyclone in the next 48 hours while moving west -northwest at around 24 kilometers per hour.
