Mostly sunny, lower-than-normal temps

Santo Domingo.- The Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts low chance of rain nationwide, from a high pressure system over the North Atlantic and the Northeast wind.

It said the Southwest, Southeast, Central Mountains and border area can expect widely scattered showers late afternoon.

It reiterated that little rainfall is expected over the country for the next 24 to 48 hours because of the high pressure system.

Onamet said temperatures will remain lower than normal during early Tuesday evening and early Wednesday

it also recommends water rationing because of the seasonal drought, mostly in the South, Southwest and Northwest.
