Government guarantees allocation of 4% to education

Santo Domingo.– Administrative minister José Ramón Peralta said Friday the Government has an "unwavering commitment" to meet the 4% of gross domestic product (GDP) to education, so he called the Dominican people to be confident in that regard.

With these statements, Peralta addressed the concern of the Coalition for a Decent Education, a group claiming that the Government is not fulfilling its commitment of the so called 4% for education.

While talking to reporters, the official said the Government is doing everything for national education. "It’s a commitment of President Danilo Medina," he pointed out.
