Medina, former president discuss naturalization bill

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina is meeting Wednesday morning with former president Hipolito Mejia, to consult him on the proposed legislation for naturalization.

The meeting, which takes place at Mejia’s residence in the La Julia sector of the National District, comes after Medina visited opposition PRD party leaders Miguel Vargas and Luis Abinader separately, to get their view on the same initiative.

The chief executive also met with former president Leonel Fernandez on the same topic on Monday.
