First Lady to attend John Paul II canonization ceremony

Santo Domingo.– First Lady Candida Montilla will head up the Dominican delegation that will attend the canonization ceremony of blessed John XXIII and John Paul II in Vatican City on April 27.

The Dominican delegation includes Santo Domingo ambassador to the Holy See, Victor Manuel Grimaldi, and Victor Gomez Berges, former ambassador.

Pope Francis will lead the process to canonize former Popes, their Holinesses John XXIII and John Paul II.
