Former Santo Domingo West mayor seeks PRD unity

Santo Domingo.– The presidential candidate of the opposition party (PRD), Francisco Peña, said he registered for position because he is seeking the unity between former President Hipolito Mejia and Miguel Vargas.

Santo Domingo West former mayor warned that the PRD internal crises experience indicate that "we must continue in the PRD." He said his son and current Santo Domingo West mayor Francis Peña supports Vargas, while his daughters support Mejia.
