Delivery of new Dominican ID cards starts today

Santo Domingo.- The Central Electoral Board (JCE) on Sunday announced the delivery of the new Dominican ID cards (cedula) to the public in the National District and nine cities starting today.

In addition to several offices in the capital, the JCE will also issue the document at Board offices in Santiago, Los Alcarrizos, San Pedro, La Romana, San Francisco, Puerto Plata, San Juan, Azua and Barahona.

The JCE said it will announce the new municipalities that will be joining the process in the coming days, as well as the site where mobile units will operate.
