Scattered showers, thunderstorms continue

Santo Domingo.- The national weather office (Onamet) forecasts continuing scattered showers from a front over the northwest, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms.

It said the entire country can expect showers, more frequent in the afternoon and evening.

"During the next 24 to 48 hours the scattered showers will continue with thunderstorms and isolated gusts of wind over our territory, mainly the Central Mountains, border areas and regions in North, Northwest and Northeast, while the trough moves eastward over the country," Onamet said.
