Bill for Naturalization Law advances, Medina says

Santo Domingo. – President Danilo Medina on Monday referred tersely to the legislation for a Naturalization Law, which is expected to be sent to Congress shortly.

When journalists in the National Palace asked him about the controversial bill, Medina said only that it "advances, advances."

Prior to his statement, the President met with Senate president Reinaldo Pared, who didn’t specify what they discussed, but noted that his bid for the ruling PLD party’s presidential candidacy, “is four sheets to the wind.”

Medina also swore in the new minister of Agriculture, Angel Estevez; and of Energy and Mines, Pelegrin Castillo.
