Partly cloudy skies, overnight showers

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) forecasts partly cloudy skies Thursday morning, with low chances of rain, but increasing toward the afternoon, especially for the Central Mountains and the Northeast, including Samana Bay.

It said the humidity from the east wind and an approaching frontal system could bring scattered overnight showers.

Onamet said a frontal system over eastern Cuba will arrive in the Northwest Friday, when temperatures will fall and showers will increase during the weekend over the North and Northeast.
