Santo Domingo.- Ensuring the safety of every visitor who selects the Dominican Republic as their vacation spot is of utmost importance, according to General Minoru Matsunaga, the director of the Tourist Police, POLITUR. He was the special guest on the “Parties and Personalities” show this Saturday, February 24.

General Matsunaga, also a member of the Tourism Cabinet, will discuss the training undergone by the men and women comprising the tourist police in a conversation with Yenny Polanco Lovera.

A native of Santo Domingo with Japanese parents, General Matsunaga holds a degree in Law and is a graduate of the “2 de Marzo” Cadet Academy of the National Police.
