Onamet forecasts a Sunday of hot temperatures

Santo Domingo – The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reported that conditions are generally stable over most of the country this Sunday.

The entity emphasized that this is the result of the influence of a high-pressure system. For this reason, a sky of scattered clouds and low possibilities of significant rains are expected.

However, in the afternoon and early evening hours, slight cloud increases may cause isolated and passing showers, mainly towards the mountainous systems, due to the local effects of diurnal and orographic warming.

TEMPERATURES
Onamet expressed that temperatures during the day will be hot due to the predominant wind from the east/southeast, while at night and early morning, they will feel slightly pleasant.

For Greater Santo Domingo, the minimum temperature will be between 21 °C and 23 °C (70-73°F) and the maximum between 30 °C and 32 °C (86-90°F).
