Abinader leads meeting on Citizen Security Plan

Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader led the subsequent session on the Citizen Security Plan, aiming to persist in ensuring the welfare of the Dominican populace.

Convened at the Officers’ Club Hall within the National Police Palace, the gathering revolves around the continuous assessment of assigned duties, accomplishments, and strategies to bolster national security further.

In attendance alongside President Abinader are key figures such as Joel Santos Echavarría and Igor Rodríguez, ministers of the Presidency; Major General Carlos Ramón Febrillet Rodríguez, Chief of the Air Force; General Juan Hilario Guzmán Badia, Deputy Director of the National Police; Major General Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre, Chief of the Army; and Vice Admiral José Manuel Cabrera Ulloa, President of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD).

Additional participants comprise Ángela Jáquez, Deputy Minister of Interior and Police; General Francisco Osoria de la Cruz, head of the General Directorate of Traffic Safety and Land Transportation (Digesett); Colonel Pilot Randolfo Rijo Gómez, Executive Director of the National Emergency and Security 9-1-1 System and Acting Director of INTRANT; General Minoru Matsunaga, Director of Tourism Police (Politur); Jimmy Ospina, Advisor to the Commissioner of Police Reform; and John Huvane, the special co-advisor on security and protection from the Ministry of Interior and Police.

The assembly also features Yeni Berenice Reynoso, Deputy Prosecutor and Head of the Prosecution Directorate of the Public Ministry, alongside a commission of prosecutors from various districts, including Rosalba Ramos from the National District, Osvaldo Bonilla from Santiago, Fadulia Rosa from San Cristóbal, Aura Luz García from La Vega, Juan Antonio Mateo Ciprián from María Trinidad Sánchez, Claudia Garrido from La Altagracia, Suleika Mateo from San Pedro de Macorís, Smaily Yamel Rodríguez from Duarte, Yeisin Alcántara from Dajabón, Yorelbin Rivas from Espaillat, Kevin Santana from La Romana, Eduard López from Santo Domingo Oeste, Milciades Guzmán from Santo Domingo Este, Ángel Darío Tejeda Fabal from Peravia, and Adolfo Augusto Feliz Pérez from San Juan.
