Sky High Dominicana expands into Guyana

Santo Domingo.- Sky High Dominicana SA is proud to announce the opening of its newest office in Georgetown, the capital of Guyana. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the airline, reaffirming its commitment to delivering outstanding service to passengers across the region.

Situated at 58 David Street, Kitty, Georgetown, the office commenced operations on Saturday, March 16th. It operates during public service hours from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Our dedicated team will be on hand to assist with flight sales, reservations, itinerary changes, luggage inquiries, and any other services related to our offerings.

“This inauguration is a momentous occasion in our ongoing dedication to providing exceptional service and comfort to our passengers. We are thrilled to introduce commercial flights between Guyana and the Dominican Republic for the first time,” stated Lili Foo, the representative of Sky High Dominicana SA in Guyana.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Mrs. Oneidge Walrond, Minister of Tourism; Mr. Ernesto Torres Pereyra, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Guyana; Mr. Jorge Soberón, Ambassador of Cuba to Guyana; and Mr. Edmundo Gil, a prominent Dominican businessman.

SkyHigh Dominicana SA commenced direct flights between Santo Domingo and Georgetown on February 18th, offering three weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The flight duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes, departing from Las Américas Dr. José Francisco Peña Gómez International Airport at 10:50 am and arriving at Cheddi Jagan International Airport at 01:20 pm. Return flights depart at 2:20 pm, with arrival at 4:50 pm, allowing passengers to reach their destination early in the day and connecting seamlessly with other destinations served by the airline, such as Havana and Miami.

As a Dominican air operator, Sky High Dominicana SA serves a diverse network of destinations, conducting over 4,000 operations annually. Our routes extend from Santo Domingo to St. Maarten, Aruba, Curacao, Antigua, St. Kitts, Bonaire, Anguilla, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Havana, Santiago de Cuba, St. Thomas, and French Guiana. In addition, we operate flights to Miami in the United States and Caracas in Venezuela, bridging the Caribbean with North and South America.
