INPOSDOM warns against phishing scams

Santo Domingo.- This Thursday, the Dominican Postal Institute (INPOSDOM) issued a cautionary notice to users and the public regarding scammers exploiting the institution’s name through the “phishing” technique.

“Phishing” constitutes a form of fraud aimed at acquiring financial and personal information via emails and WhatsApp messages.

Furthermore, the institute clarified that it never solicits personal data digitally, thereby indicating any such requests as fraudulent.

INPOSDOM urges users to promptly report any suspicious activity they encounter.
