RD Vial’s Holy Week education and prevention campaign

Santo Domingo.- The RD Vial Trust Coordination Office has launched the “Pass Quickly and Safely” campaign across various platforms to enhance awareness and increase safety precautions among citizens traveling on the roads during the Holy Week holiday.

Jean Luis Rodríguez, the director of RD Vial, emphasized the organization’s goal of fostering greater responsibility among drivers to prevent accidents resulting from non-compliance with traffic laws and lack of caution.

Additionally, RD Vial is collaborating with emergency and security agencies to ensure the safety of Dominicans who use this time for family gatherings and reflection.

“Pass Quickly and Safely” encourages citizens to obtain the Fast Pass device to facilitate safe and swift passage through toll booths. Rodriguez reminded citizens that Tags are available for purchase at various toll booths and designated points, including Sigma fuel stations, the Las Américas toll fuel station, and outlets specified by Uepa Tickets, BM Cargo, and CardNET. The price remains at RD$250.00, inclusive of a RD$200.00 recharge.

Recharging the service is possible through the Paso Rápido application, accessible on all smartphones, as well as via WhatsApp, internet banking platforms of Banco de Reservas, Popular, and other financial institutions, and other methods outlined on the entity’s website and social media channels.
