Purchasing and Contracting Department social media accounts get hacked

Santo Domingo.– The Instagram and Facebook accounts of the General Directorate of Public Purchasing and Contracting (DGCP) were hacked by a user who identifies himself as “Oso Negro” who claims to control the site and warns the government entity that they have 24 hours “to comply” with its “requirements”.

In both social networks the messages are accompanied with the image of a bear.

“If they do not meet our demands, they will lose their pages in 24 hours,” is the post published on the DGCP’s Instagram account.

In the publications made by the author of the hack, no details are offered about what this requirements are that he demands from the government institution.
