Car plunges from bridge in Punta Cana, claiming two lives

Punta Cana.- Tragedy struck in Punta Cana as a car plunged off the Caracol bridge on the La Ceiba-Uvero Alto highway, claiming at least two lives. The vehicle involved, a white Honda Accord with license plate A 968158, carried several occupants, with two individuals tragically discovered deceased in the river beneath the bridge.

The identities of the victims remain undisclosed at this juncture. However, preliminary descriptions indicate that the deceased include a Caucasian woman aged approximately 30 to 35 years old, and a dark-skinned man of around 35 years old.

Reports suggest that the bodies were located in the back seat of the car, suggesting that occupants in the front seats are unaccounted for.
